Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cell Block Production Lead Technician to join our growing team within Red Bull Powertrains based at our Winterhill campus..
The main purpose of this role is to lead the assembly of our batteries and subsystems including cell preparation and manage the tasks and workloads for our current technicians and operators.
Key responsibilities for this Cell Block Production Lead Technician Role: -
- Plan and coordinate assembly, cell preparation and conditioning work for a team of technicians and operators
- Ensure the team follow all Health and Safety guidelines and requirements in Cell Block Production
- Training technicians and operators on test and production operations
- Complete necessary assembly and sub -assembly tasks and also overseeing and completing R&D and Test work where required.
- Maintaining, handing and storage of cells
- High Voltage safety monitoring including validation, data monitoring and producing reports.
Essential Competencies for this Cell Block Production Lead Technician Role: -
- Experience in the assembly of complex fine tolerance electric and electronic component assemblies
- Experience working with High Voltage batteries.
- Recent Energy Recovery System (ERS) experience is beneficial
- An Understanding of ERS testing methodologies
- Strong leadership skills and a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines within a highly pressured environment.
