ETL Developer

The ETL developer is responsible for the development of solutions to move and transform data needed throughout the information lifecycle. This position leads the technical components of data integration processes. This position will work with Business Analysts, executives and business stakeholders to deploy data integration automation. The primary focus will be in one of two areas: ELT and/or Application Interfacing. This includes, but is not limited to designing, building, deploying and maintaining: ETL\ELT processes, external and internal EDI processes, data quality methods, transactional interfaces. This role develops a deep familiarity with our myriad of data sources and becomes our fierce data guardian performing data quality checks to ensure accuracy across these sources.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop new and support existing ETL processes using industry-leading ETL tools.
  • Perform source system analysis as required.
  • Develop stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries where needed.
  • Take ownership of our data and constantly improve its quality and integrity; proactively identify data quality issues at every step and coordinate with the appropriate teams and/or vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage company data requests including API connections, mapping, importing or exporting of data to ensure consistency, correct and safe transfer of information.
  • Extract data from multiple sources, standardize the data and produce analyses.
  • Performance tune SQL statements executed by ETL code as required.
  • Work with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Coordinate data mapping and data translation activities, working to increase accuracy.
  • Create and maintain SQL databases tables/indexes/triggers, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs.
  • Develop, test and debug SQL server queries, procedures, and jobs related to database requirements for data services operations and ongoing projects.Netsuite
