Santa Pod Raceway is the UK’s most action-packed motorsport venue. We are currently recruiting casual staff members to work with us for the event season between the months of March – November.
This will involve working in some of our food and beverage outlets on site for a range of events, predominantly Fridays – Sundays.
It is an exciting and rewarding role, that is something for people of all ages and backgrounds. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to find extra work.
The role will involve the following:
- Serving customers at point of sale
- Cooking and preparing a basic range of fast foods
- Preparing a range of hot drinks
- Cash handling
- Cleaning and maintaining service areas and equipment
- Re-stocking of service areas
- Complying at all times with Health and Safety at Work and Food Hygiene policies and procedures

We are an events business so we do require applicants to be fully flexible with working hours. Some of our events do run from 7am until midnight! Early and late shifts are allocated accordingly and are given with at least 2 weeks notice according to the workers availability. We require applicants to be able to work across the weekend. Some of our larger scale events run on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays in addition to the weekend days - plenty of shifts are available! It is preferable that workers are able to work on these weekdays where required however availability can be discussed at interview.
Due to our rural location, it is preferable that applicants have their own transport. Please be aware that there is no local transport services.
Previous catering experience is desirable, although training and certification will be given to the right candidates.
All successful applicants will be asked to attend a mandatory induction/training morning prior to starting any work.
