Work Summary

Elite Trailer Manufacturing in Oklahoma City is looking for full time Assemblers to work in our Oklahoma City manufacturing plant.

4-Day work week is Monday to Thursday with additional overtime as needed on Fridays.
Elite designs and builds custom aluminum horse, stock, motorsports and specialty trailers.

Essential Functions

A General Assembler will facilitate in the assembly of raw materials or machined parts to attach or install components to sub-assemblies and trailer structures.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Attaching parts or materials per Engineering specifications
  • Handling of Chemicals and Like Materials
  • Huck Bolting Assemblies
  • Buck Riveting Side Sheets and Components
  • Caulking Side Sheets and Specialty Areas
  • Attaching Graphics and Decals to finished trailers
  • Tire and Wheel Installation
  • Installing or attaching doors, windows, ramps, steps or additional hardware

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and organized work environment
  • Must maintain positive work attendance
  • Maintain high level of performance without sacrifice to operating procedures or safety rules
  • Update Supervisor on all work assignments as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Applicant must have proficient math skills
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel throughout facility (ADA Accommodations Available)

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Prints and Bill of Materials
  • Ability to read and understand Metric and Standard measurements
  • Ability to follow written and verbal communications
  • Communication Skills
  • Organizational Skills
  • Horse trailer experience a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
