We are seeking Mill CNC Machinist with 2 years of experience setting up, and operating CNC machine. This opening is for full-time hourly production position for 2nd shift with benefits, reporting to the Machine Shop Manager. The standard work schedule (4) 10-hour shift, Monday thru Thursday 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM.
Responsibilities:
This position is in a manufacturing/machine shop environment, and this individual is responsible for having a solid knowledge of CNC mill machines, including set-up, and operation, as well as the ability to make quality production parts.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform programming, operation, and setup of CNC mill machines
- Perform setups and inspections for other departments as needed
- Study and interpret drawings or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, the sequence of operations and setup requirements to maximize efficiencies
- Communicate and report non-conforming parts to the supervisor, engineers, production control, and quality control to resolve issues
- Meet required product rates, schedules, and deadlines
- Follows proper work safety practices
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
- Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Ability to use computers and other office equipment
