PURPOSE
The purpose of the Technical Sales role is to service the European motorsport market sales enquires at PWR To provide exceptional and accurate product advice and service to our customer base.To work in collaboration with the design and production team to ensure the purchased product is made to correct specifications and dispatched at the agreed time.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all WHS policies as outlined in the HR Manual and Employment Policy guide;
- Participate and contribute in all WHS Tool box meeting;
- Participate in department WHS, Fire and Evacuation and Emergency training;
- Demonstrate a high degree of safety awareness at all times.
Leadership/ Management
Provide leadership within the sales team in regards to assigned autonomous tasks from the Sales Manager and report back to sales team for review and action.
Specific Duties of Role
- Respond to all incoming sales calls and emails in a timely and professional manner;
- Ensure all sales related paperwork is complete for every sale with a high level of accuracy;
- Work in collaboration with the design team and production departments to ensure products are built and delivered to each customer within agreed time frame;
- Accurately cost job specifications for each sale;
- Encourage ‘add on’ purchases to every sale;
- Manage all assigned outbound calls;
- Participate in training as required;
- Represent PWR in a professional manner at trade events and promotional activities as directed by the Sales Manager;
- Keep up to date with market trends in the automotive aftermarket and motorsport industry.
