Talent Acquisition Advisor - 6 month FTC

The role:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Talent Acquisition Advisor.

 

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will work closely with hiring managers and play a key role in sourcing and engaging with candidates for roles throughout Williams Racing, creating an engaging candidate experience that conveys our unique employment brand and culture from the very start. This role sits within the busy and growing Talent Acquisition team and working closely with the wider HR team, delivering to a high standard of service ultimately enabling Williams Racing to hire the best people and onboard them for future job role success. 

 

As part of Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing and hiring candidates to fill open positions within Williams Racing. Employer branding, future resource planning, diversifying our workforce, developing a robust candidate pipeline and candidate onboarding are the cornerstone of talent acquisition and our overall people strategy.

 

Please note this role is a six-month fixed-term-contract.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure we offer a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager service.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships within Williams Racing (Hiring Managers, HR Ops Team, HR Business Partnering, IT, Finance, Marketing, IT etc.).

  • Liaise with Hiring Managers to ensure role requirements are accurately gathered and supported by up to date job descriptions.

  • Provide outstanding candidate experience during the hiring process by applying stay-in-touch strategy and timely communication.

  • Deputise for the Talent Acquisition Manager when necessary.

  • Manage and oversee the occupational testing requirements (e.g. psychometric and ability tests).

  • Support wider talent acquisition team (including early careers) with scheduling interviews and assessment centres etc.

  • Update templates for advert copies and candidate communications to maximise response rates.

  • Own issues and escalate to the appropriate level.

  • Prioritise workloads, meeting deadlines and collaborating with colleagues.

  • Gather data and use this to provide analysis and reporting to help identify continuous improvements, including through our applicant tracking system and candidate surveys

  • You will be involved in compliance processes which include Tier 2 Sponsorships and Air Freight Security as well as producing contracts of employment.

  • Mentor other members of the Talent Acquisition on recruitment best practise (offer management/candidate experience/systems).

  • Contributing to the overall development and promotion of the HR function by being an active member of the wider HR Team, supporting colleagues and taking up opportunities to work on the development of HR policies, process and procedures, and other HR projects as required.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will:

  • Be experienced either in a talent acquisition/recruitment/staffing (3 – 5 years)

  • Be experienced of developing or streamlining processes and tools to recruitment

  • Help creatively shape the on-going recruitment and coordination

  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally at all levels

  • Team player

  • Be able to manage a diverse workload

  • Be able to prioritise and respond efficiently

  • Be credibility when speaking to both candidates and stakeholders

  • Have good presentation, written and analytical skills

The following would also be an advantage to have (however not essential):

  • Workday experience

  • Experience with early careers recruitment (assessment centres for apprentices/industrial placements/graduates)

  • CIPD and/or REC qualification
