Surfacing Design Engineer - NASCAR

 

Role and Responsibilities

Working in the aero group, the candidate will develop vehicle body surfaces and parametric models. The candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Design of rapid prototype and composite model test components
  • CAD support for CFD models
  • Full scale vehicle surface documentation

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The successful candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology along with 2 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in vehicle surfacing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in CAD software such as PTC Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA, or equivalent
  • Wind tunnel model design
  • Composite design
