The position:

We are currently seeking an ambitious Software Engineer to join the Vehicle Dynamics Department to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the software required to deliver a class-leading Software Architecture to the Team.

 

Touching on databasing, back-end services, web API and desktop and web front ends, the role is “full-stack” and will help to keep Williams at the forefront of software technologies and processes.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Appropriate development of software and systems in order to meet requirements defined by the Lead Software Engineer.
  • Working effectively as part of the local Software Team. This will include, but not limited to, appropriately contributing to all meetings, adhering to the defined Software Workflow pattern (appropriate git workflow methodology, appropriate comments in code reviews and PRs.) and constructive relationships with other members.
  • Working effectively as part of the wider Vehicle Dynamics department and other departments throughout Williams.
  • Produce good readable code following best-practices and style guides where appropriate.
  • Working closely with users and product owners, in an Agile manner, to ensure that requirements are fully captured and are delivered at each iteration of software development.

  • C#, .NET 6.0, WPF
