- Support the Transport Planning Team Manager on various policy and strategy development tasks
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of planning and transport policies and strategies
Job Requirements:
- Political awareness and an interest in a range of sectors including rail
- Qualification or equivalent experience in Transport Planning, Planning Policy, or a related subject
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to handle complex work
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policies at national, regional, and local levels
- An understanding of planning processes and the ability to research and analyse information
