Job Purpose

Responsible for designing, following manufacture and processing of injection molds for North American mass production facilities with outputs in the form of 3D models while working closely with customers and internal team members to ensure high quality parts and production stability.

Key Accountabilities

• Design injection molds and equipment for automobile new models in NX CAD software

• Follow Design and Manufacturing of suppliers of molds and equipment

• Lead and process in-house trials of injection molds and other equipment

• Install injection molds and other equipment at production facilities

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • OR Manufacturing Engineering, Associate's Degree with 2 years of additional relevant experience
  • OR 4 years of additional relevant experience with no degree

Minimum Experience

  • At least 3 months co-op experience

Other Job Specific Skills

  • Familiarity with CAD software (NX or CATIA)
  • Skilled in FEA and related software
  • Mechanical/manufacturing knowledge (injection molding)
