Media and Marketing Executive to join our expanding team.

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to work with one of the fastest growing global motorsport businesses. United Autosports is an established race winning team contesting multiple racing series around the world as well as being the custodians of an impressive collection of some of the most iconic race cars.

The position is on a full-time employee basis with an immediate start date, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Media and Marketing Executive to assist with the growth of our marketing programme, helping to drive strategic growth as part of our overarching strategy. Design skills and a good understanding of social media marketing are two core elements, however the role will encompass a wide breath of marketing channels and offers a fantastic opportunity to build on both traditional and digital capabilities.

You will be an integral part of the creation, development, and execution of marketing plans to hit targets which range from social reach to digital traffic and press coverage.

The working hours are 0900-1700 with a half hour lunch. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively, will need to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision and can adapt quickly to the unique challenges presented by professional motorsport.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Media and Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and analyse marketing activities across a range of channels including organic, paid, social, email, audio, and press.
  • Design and create a range of media and marketing materials from promotional merchandise to social media assets, email newsletter templates and more
  • Create a suite of digital assets that can be located and used by partners in accordance with their partnership rights. Take responsibility for the updating of the same
  • Liaise with and secure suitable media partners (including but not limited to photographers, videographers), set clear briefs ahead of race events and manage as the main point of contact
  • Maintain and coordinate our social media calendar, having full responsibility for ensuring all pre-planned posts are launched at the appropriate times and all assets are ready beforehand.
  • Build and publish highly engaging social media activity, ensuring all content is on-brand and optimised by channel
  • Assist with managing marketing and sponsorship events including but not limited to personal appearance days by drivers and senior team management
  • Support with proposals, post event analysis and presentations to senior management

Essential requirements:

  • Experience working with most social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Graphic design skills with the Adobe suite of software
  • Video editing capabilities are an advantage
  • Ability to write copy for social media
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Ability to constantly work to the highest standards, with minimal supervision and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a propensity to stay calm and professional in high stress situations

Remuneration

The right candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package commensurate with their experience and the requirements of this role.

The candidate will be required to be in comfortable reach of United Autosports’ base in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The role requires international travel therefore the successful candidate should have an up-to-date passport and driving licence.

Be versatile and flexible; tasks will vary, hours are flexible, the successful applicant will be expected to work weekends
