Job Description
The Production Assembly Associate is expected to support the manufacturing and shipping departments in assembling and process manufactured products, managing quality control duties, order preparation, and shipping and receiving. The Production Assembly Associate is expected to be knowledgeable of Fabspeed Motorsport products. The Production Assembly Associate works with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for following all health and safety procedures that promote a safe working environment throughout the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare parts for the fabrication team on 304 Stainless steel tubing
  • Post-fabrication machining operations - Drill O2 bungs and EGT sensors
  • Maintain equipment at the workbench, along with maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area.
  • Deliver quality work efficiently
  • Support Short and Long-Term Company Goals for Growth
  • Maintain 5S System Company-wide, practicing Lean Manufacturing methods
  • High-volume production output is to be monitored against production standards.
  • Create finished goods to high-quality specifications, presenting 100% accuracy to the integrity of welds, as well as cosmetic standards.
  • Personal drive and work ethic, operating with an enthusiastic attitude.

Primary Objectives

  • Maintain a safety-conscious environment and use all provided PPE
  • Trained and proficient in all shop equipment relevant to the task as a preparation employee. This includes chop saws, belt sanders, plasma cutters, air tools, end forming machines, hand drills, drill press, polishing equipment, milling machines, basic hand tools, and all measuring equipment.
  • Execute welded projects in a timely manner and consistent with our quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Able to read, understand and follow assembly instructions and prints.
  • Have a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Capable to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a group environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, reliable, and have a great attitude.
  • Proficiency with metalworking tools and providing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication environment (Required)
  • Ability to recognize and understand basic automotive parts (Preferred)
