Job role: Electrical Development Engineer

Salary: £37,000-£43,000 DOE

Location: Oakham, Rutland

Hours: 8.00-16.00 Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role

Manage and assist in engineering and development projects on site, providing second hand support to the engineering team where required.

To implement continuous improvements methodologies, making suggestions to improve manufacturing processes.

Manage project resources, ensuring that the budget is adhered to and all compliance is carried out correctly.

Write equipment specifications that are easy to understand, ensuring a smooth hand over to the production team.

Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies

The Requirements

Previous experience working in an improvements/development position within a manufacturing environment (essential)

Previous experience surrounding installation and commissioning of plant machinery (essential)

Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential)

Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous

Knowledge of PLC and/or Servo control systems (advantageous)

Understanding of CAD packages, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD (Advantageous)

Full UK Driving License required
