Customer Experience Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Experience Specialist at a leading high quality motorsport vehicle manufacturer based in Belper.

To support the increasing expansion of our clients motorsport calendar and to support our customers we are delighted to add a customer experience specialist role to our team.  This new invaluable position will help deliver an outstanding experience for our customers throughout their competition season covering events in both the UK and internationally.

The role, based at Head Office in Belper, will report directly to the Commercial Manager but will work closely with the Motorsport and Production managers. We are looking for a people first focused person to ensure our customers have an outstanding customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Specialist will be as follows:

  • Communicate plans and requirements with customers ahead of events, ensuring all customer needs are delivered.
  • Attend events ensuring customer and vehicle requirements are captured and agreed.
  • Track and manage the agreed actions and activity through the business in preparation for subsequent events.
  • Ensure all plans are aligned with the other department managers.
  • Ensure clear, accurate and agreed work plans are in place, keeping customers updated.
  • Manage the quotation and payment process for all and any work undertaken with the commercial team.
  • Act as point of contact for customers to access all services with the business.
  • Maximise sales and revenue opportunities arising from customers handling.
  • Proactive management of customer relationships ensuring all expectations are met.
  • Work with stakeholders in other business units.
  • Identify CX opportunities.
  • Support the commercial team where directed.

 

Key Skills

  • Confidence in dealing with customers, face to face, on phone and electronically.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work across departments and with internal stakeholders to manage and plan activities.
  • Able to identify sales opportunities, raise them and close deals.
  • Capable of producing clear plans and tracking performance.
  • Ability to solve problems and prioritise work.
  • Be adaptable to the changing environments in which you will be working from rally events to workshops.
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.
  • Ability to travel to weekend events both in the UK and internationally.
  • Full driving licence.

 

Experience

  • Previous experience in a CX environment
  • Experience working within a sales environment preferable but not essential
  • Experience in events work – preferable but not essential

 

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.00am until 5.15pm and Friday 8.00am to 2.15pm.

Salary for this is between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
