Our client, a prominent company within the Rail industry, is currently seeking a Civil Project engineer to join their team. This is an exciting contract opportunity with a 12-month duration, offering competitive rates of 450- 500 per day on an inside basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement tender strategies
- Conduct thorough evaluation of project requirements and specifications
- Review and analyze project documentation, drawings, and technical specifications
- Manage and coordinate tender processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements
- Prepare cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Attend site visits and meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project scope
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate agreements
Job Requirements
- Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the Rail sector
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and procedures
- Proficiency in evaluating project documentation and technical specifications
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective negotiation and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
