Purpose of the Role:
We're offering a unique opportunity for a Purchaser to play a pivotal role in our journey, directly influencing our organization's performance. This position reports to the Head of Finance and is crucial for someone ready to make a significant impact alongside some of the best talents in electric racing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine the NEOM McLaren supplier portfolio, driving our sourcing strategy to innovate and meet future demands.
- Collaborate with the Programme Planner, ensuring part availability for a competitive edge on the track.
- Oversee the supply chain from design to track by optimising orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Manage the negotiations and SLA’s with our landlord relating to lease and site services
- Build strong relationships and innovative solutions with suppliers and stakeholders, aligned with the dynamics of motorsport.
- Source components within budget and timelines, balancing cost, quality, and efficiency in procurement.
- Ensure supply chain compliance, deepen understanding of company governance, and prioritize sustainability in purchasing to uphold eco-friendly racing practices.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed and aligned and any conflicts resolved.
- Maintain quality and manage costs, updating procurement processes and systems for peak efficiency.
- Optimise and maintain procurement efficiency by updating processes and systems, ensuring they align with business needs for maximum effectiveness and cost control.
