At McLaren Racing, we’re looking for Associate Aerodynamicists to push us further and faster than ever. To tackle our biggest Aerodynamic challenges with energy, innovation and respect. To make the most of our open and inclusive culture. To own the next chapter in our story.
Key Information:
Trackside Aerodynamicist – The Role
You will play a vital role in the search for performance every race weekend, ensuring that you use all the data available to take well informed, critical decisions for the setup and build of the car in order to maximise the potential of our aero package.
Working in the aero group, the candidate will use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to perform simulations investigating race car performance. The results from these experiments will be used to identify potential performance gains, guide wind tunnel testing, and develop body surface specifications. The CFD engineer will help make improvements to strengthen the aerodynamic performance of the race car.
Duties:
MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is unique – on and off the track. We don’t follow the status quo and we’ve made a name for ourselves as the team who does things differently. You might’ve seen us on Netflix, or know that we’re the only American-owned team on the Formula 1 grid, but we’re also more than that.
