Due to new and exciting developments in 2024, we now have an opportunity for a full-time, part-time or subcontractor HGV1 driver with tyre fitting experience to join our team in Daventry. The suitable candidate will be responsible for ensuring our service trucks arrive at events on time in good order and fitting tyres under time pressures dictated at the site locations, often working independently. If you are a good communicator, able to work as part of a team as well as on your own, listen and act upon complex instructions, comply with strict health and safety requirements and ensure that timescales are met then you may be the person we are looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tyres and equipment to race tracks around the UK and internationally
- Loading tyres and equipment ready for race events
- Build-up and break-down of equipment and structures
- Tyre fitting of race tyres at race events and in the workshop
- Stock management
- Communicating with customers
The ideal candidate will have:
- HGV1 licence and full driver CPC
- Experience in tyre fitting
- Able to travel in the UK and abroad
- Able to work weekends
Desirables:
- A proven track record of HGV1 driving at a high standard
- Experience in tyre fitting and balancing
- A passion for motorsport
