Purpose of Role

  • Working within the Total Quality Management (TQM) team where you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating all activities associated with the Conformity of Production (COP) requirements, and the execution of the COP plan.
  • Compliance to Quality Management System requirements and IATF 16949 standard
  • ELV/RRR compliance
  • This requires a high level of coordination amongst the stakeholders in the processes and consistent and effective communication.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate COP testing (both internally and externally) following the defined yearly COP test plan.
  • Coordinate COP related audits conducted by the Certification Authorities.
  • Coordinate the completion of the manufacturing process audit plan.
  • Coordinate activities leading to the company certification to the IATF 16949 automotive standard.
  • Conduct component assessments in line with End of Life Vehicle (ELV) and Reuse Recycle Recover (RRR) regulatory requirement and coordinate follow-up activities to ensure all vehicle variants in series production remain compliant.
  • Conduct component assessments in line with ELV/RRR regulatory requirements of any new model variants in development stages to support the Whole Vehicle Type Approval process.
  • Liaise with and coordinate (as and when necessary) all stakeholders in the Compliance processes to ensure completion of tasks owned by the stakeholders.
  • Generate adequate Compliance related reports to demonstrate progress status as necessary and communicate to the business.
  • Maintain all Compliance related internal documentation in line with the requirements of the QMS.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in automotive industry is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in Quality Management Systems and processes is beneficial.
  • Project management skills are beneficial.
  • University Degree is preferred
