Test Engineer
Calspan’s Tire Research Facility is a world leader in the indoor measurement of Force & Moment data on tires. With Customers that include leading vehicle manufacturers, tire manufacturers and motorsport organizations, Calspan is always improving and advancing the science. We are searching for a motivated engineer to join our group. The Test Engineer will support Calspan’s Tire Research Facility by interacting with others to prepare and execute tests in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance to industry best practices.
Description:
- Interpret test results, compile data and generate all test reports accurately and on time.
- Work closely with staff and customers to develop innovative performance measurement and analysis methods. Convert customer requirements into detailed, logical and practical Project and Test Plans.
- Work with technicians and mechanics to set-up equipment, test articles and facilities in order to prepare for and execute tests.
- Execute tests in a professional and timely manner, consistent with general laboratory practices
