Supply Chain Planner

Summary

Perform the materials requirement planning to the products and suppliers under your responsibility considering all logistics and operational aspects (costs, inventory level and availability), being in charge to track the deviations from previous releases and adjust the orders accordingly with your suppliers. Maintain all related master data into SAP to allow the system to create accurate recommendations to the correct supplier, considering the minimum order quantities and lead-times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and influence the S&OP demand consensus meetings, collaborating with the relevant feedback on the existing constrains to accomplish on the sale plan.

  • Perform the purchase plan analysis and release the purchase orders to your suppliers in a regular basis, understand their restrictions, risks, and opportunities. Seeking for collaborative and partnership relationship.

  • Support the product management team to ensure flawless parts launches.

  • Identify, address and track opportunities of inventory reduction (excess inventory, slow movers and obsolete).

  • Measure the supplier delivery performance and lead-time of your suppliers and maintain the system master data accordingly.

  • Establish recurring meetings with Suppliers (or internal departments) when the performance is preventing the achievement of the Sales and impacting the customer service level.

  • Provide the support and necessary information to inbound team process the goods receipt and dispute divergences.

  • Visit customers & suppliers when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, math, supply chain management or related field is required.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

  • Spanish language will be considerable as a plus.
