Following recent successes within the Simulation Development Section at Alpine F1 Team, we are looking to recruit a Simulation Development Engineer to develop our vehicle models & simulation tools to add performance to our race car.

Simulation Development Engineer – The role

This role will primarily be focused on the development and maintenance of our vehicle models to meet the Team’s future vehicle modelling requirements. There will also be involvement in simulation tool development to assist with our complex simulation and optimisation techniques. Based within the Simulation Development Section at Enstone, the role will involve collaboration with other members of that group and interaction with members of the Performance Systems Group and Race Team to support them in their use of our models and simulation tools. Responsibilities will include:

  • To deliver, alongside other members of the group, hi-fidelity vehicle models with the appropriate level of complexity and fidelity to meet the needs of the users in the Performance Systems Group and Race Team.

  • Provide user support and maintenance for our vehicle models and existing simulation tools.

  • Help develop complex simulation methodologies, and optimisation techniques that fully exploit our vehicle models and simulation tools to direct car setup and design.
