We are looking to grow our in house team here in Essex and provide an opportunity for a hard working Shipping and stock operative to join us on our journey.
Your Role:
In your role at Funk Motorsport you will be responsible for fulfilling orders for our customers worldwide. Whilst also keeping our small warehouse fully stocked and tidy. This will include, but not limited to:
- Packaging and preparing orders for daily collection by our couriers
- Packaging product to brand standard in a timely manor, which will then be held ready for shipping
- Generating shipping labels through the online Royal Mail and DHL platforms, ensuring the correct weights of each shipment are applied and the correct services are selected.
- Other supporting tasks in other areas of the business may arise from time to time. These may include Logistics, Production or events.
- Handling face to face customer requests from time to time when they drop in.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an efficient method of working
- Show the willingness to be flexible on both job role, and work load.
- Show good initiative in scenarios where guidance is unavailable.
- Have good attention to detail, by providing neat packaging standards.
- Show an active interest in the products and the brand direction.
- Be well presented, as this job can be customer facing at times.
- Have an interest in the automotive/motorsport industries.
Part Time – 20hrs per week based on 4 hours per day.
Job Types: Part time - Permanent
Experience Required:
Experience in order fulfilment and shipping (Preferred).
Speed and efficiency is extremely important for this role.
This job has the potential to grow into a fulltime role, as and when the business continues to grow. This could result in expanded duties. As a young, extremely fast growing brand, it is extremely likely that future opportunities will become available.
