Senior Manager, Brand Experience and Events

Under the direction of the Director of Brand Communications and Experiential Marketing, the Senior Manager will be responsible for the strategic development, management and implementation of experiential marketing activities and programs including: event sponsorships, media partnerships, auto shows (booth display, show management relationships, dealer integration), promotions, motorsports, owner events and other experiential programs as necessary to reach company goals.

Duties

  • Lead development and execution of the experiential marketing strategy and annual plan, including but not limited to culturally relevant and targeted activations to support reveal, launch, owner, conquest and lifestyle event program
  • Manage a team of three along with multiple agencies and vendors, ensuring that programs are on strategy and deliver maximum ROI
  • Collaborate with marketing and PR, product planning, R&D, US and global regions, key executives and other departments as needed
  • Develop and implement an ongoing measurement and reporting program that aligns with company goals and KPIs
  • Ensure budget is maximized and regularly assessed; ensure JSOX compliance
  • Maintain awareness of constantly evolving trends, best practices, consumer attitudes and opinions

Responsibilities
Brand oversight of department activities

  • Ensure brand alignment across all experiential activations

Set experiential strategy in support of company goals; develop and implement annual plans in support of the strategy

  • Working with the Director, set the annual strategic direction for the team, with ongoing, regular assessment to ensure the program is supporting company goals; ensure plan development and implementation

Attend events to ensure seamless brand alignment and execution

  • Oversight of on-the-ground execution; support staff and partners as needed

Set and manage budget and measure spend against KPIs

  • Develop and track budget; measure against KPIs; ensure the team is within JSOX compliance as necessary

Qualifications
Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications preferred
  • Non degreed candidates must have equivalent work experience that proves knowledge of the role and its tasks

Experience:

  • 5+ years in 2 or more of the following fields:
    • Experiential strategy
    • Event management
    • Brand management
    • Entertainment, automotive or sports experience
    • Marketing strategy
    • Event Marketing
