To support the growth of the team, we have an exciting opportunity in the role of R&D Design Engineer.
We are looking for an engineer or mechanical designer to join our team at a tremendously exciting time for Aston Martin Formula 1. We are expanding the R&D group not only to improve car performance but also to transform our test capabilities as we move into a brand new factory.
Key Skills :
- The ability to design original test rigs and adapt them to new car hardware
- Be able to progress multiple projects concurrently
- An understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical actuation
- An appreciation of data logging, sensors and measurement techniques
Applicants for the role should :
- Have a good quality degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Motorsport Engineering
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Have experience of a modern 3D CAD system
- Ideally have experience working in R&D in motorsport, aerospace or other high tech industry
