Are you an Electrical or Project Engineer from a Heavy Industry , Power Generation, Energy or Petrochemical background looking for a career with a clear development structure and expansive training programme for a global Power Generation company?
In this role you will be doing a wide variety of project work spanning hydrogen, natural gas, renewable and traditional power generation technologies. This will include carrying out front end engineering, feasibility studies, project management as well as hands-on troubleshooting/repairs and attending outages. The role will then naturally progress into focusing on early stage concepts and project development for new, cutting edge Power Generation projects across the UK.
This multinational company design and build power generation and storage technology across the UK and Europe. They are responsible for generating over 20GW of power across Europe and are looking to increase the UK's capacity significantly over the next 10 years, having sustainability at the heart of their business.
This role would suit and Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer or similar from an Energy, Power Generation, Chemical, Heavy Industry or Process Engineering background looking for a clear development plan, career progression and a wide variety of project work.
The Role:
- Tailored training and development plan
- Variety of on-site, in-office and from home work
- Working on HV projects for Power Generation and Grid-scale infrastructure
- Working for the Electrical Concepts team on Front End Engineering, Feasibility studies and technical specification for new-build hydrogen and renewable projects
- Hybrid, 3 days a week in a Long Eaton based site
The Person:
- Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer or similar
- Degree, HND or Chartered Engineer
- High Voltage knowledge
