As a Senior Programmer (Online/Multiplayer), you will join an experienced cross-discipline team working on AAA PC and console titles, where your expertise, enthusiasm, and passion for technical excellence will help craft a seamless and engaging online experience for our players.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of C++ programming experience, including work on realtime online game features
- Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience integrating online services, including those of the major console platforms
- Experience Synchronising game entities and gameplay state in a bandwidth-efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with designers and other programmers
- You strive to always learn and improve and enjoy imparting that knowledge to others
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our multiplayer systems and associated code and tools
- Synchronization of game state and mechanics between players in multiplayer sessions to enable a shared gameplay experience.
- Contribute to system architecture in a networked multiplayer environment
- Write and debug performant, easy-to-read C++ code.
- Help to reinforce teamwork and a healthy studio culture
