Motorsports Marketing Intern

Your Responsibilities

As Bilstein's Motorsports Marketing intern you will attend race events with our service trailer to help capture pictures, videos, and stories that will be used in our marketing content. You will post motorsport wins on our social media accounts, collaborate on our catalog, and assist with design projects.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting development of creative marketing materials including: brochures, catalogs, flyers, advertisements, web copy, email templates and social media content, photo and video shoots
  • Monitoring Motorsports trends and keeping team informed
  • Attending event and tradeshows
  • Monitoring marketing material inventory levels
  • Updating internal communications (intranet or newsletter)
  • Media research and tracking
  • Competitive research and market analysis
  • Utilizing SAP for internal procedures

Your Profile

We are looking for a marketing student who is passionate about all things automotive and motorsports. You will work closely with our Marketing department in Poway but you will be our eyes and ears on the ground in Mooresville for motorsport races. This role is for local candidates only.

We will work with you to accommodate your class schedule but our ideal candidate will have some flexibility to attend races and events which may take place on weekdays or weekends. You should expect to work around 20 hours a week with some local travel.

  • Graphic design – Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Undergraduate degree candidate (various majors apply) preferred
  • Videography and editing skills preferred
  • Passion for Automotive racing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on grammar and high attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and able to assist meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work 20 hr/week with some weekends and local travel
  • Immediate start date (duration 6 months +)
  • Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
