This well established, award winning company are continually expanding & now have an exciting position available for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the day to day operations of a busy Warehouse & Transport department.
In this role you will be responsible for managing people and processes in the warehouse and transport functions, to ensure efficient and optimum operation. You will be a people leader and will be passionate about the industry as well as upholding company values, being a brand ambassador and having the ability to drive the operation through the next stages of growth.

The role
- Managing day to day operations of a busy warehouse & transport department
- Monitoring and reviewing budgets
- Ensuring all warehouse & transport personnel are trained to the required standards
- Ensuring transport regulations are adhered to
- Ensuring safety systems are in place such as FLT maintenance, daily checks, racking inspection, accident investigation and risk management
The person
- Previous experience as a logistics Manager, with the ability to lead & motivate teams
- Looking for a varied and challenging, fast paced role
- A brilliant communicator who can inspire the team and lead from the front through growth plans
- Previous experience of driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives
