Working within the cross functional Programme management group, this position reports to the Aero Programme Manager or their designee and is located in the Maranello facility. Responsible for ensuring the correct products are delivered to the right location on time and in the quality required, this role will also oversee the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the track, wind tunnel or factory facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Support the logistic activities of Haas as required throughout the season, factory quarters and Wind Tunnel activities.
- Responsible for working with the internal departments to collect transportation requests and create and manage the logistic plan.
- Responsible for daily logistics operations ensuring all requested are dispatched on time or resolve problems concerning transportation.
- Responsible for informing any misalignments to the approved plan.
- Contribute for accuracy of incoming and outgoing material registration.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
- Other duties as assigned by their Manager.
Education and Work Experience:
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Further education including University Degree in manufacturing or engineering degree may be advantageous.
- Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function.
- Wish to improve and create the knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and components and of supply chain management.
- Drive licence.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience of Logistic Management or Project Management.
- Previous experience of technical project management.
- Ability to work in a team promoting communication within the team and with the other departments.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Proactive and able to manage fast changing situations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with conflicting inputs.
- Organization, precision, and attention to details are essential.
- A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.
Equipment and Applications:
- Solid computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Office with advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Project.
- Ability to prepare and present effective presentations of complex subjects to a diverse audience in an engaging way and agreeing outcomes for resolution.
- Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials.
