At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together through each step, from design, to build and manufacturing, and then running our elite competition cars.
With ever increasing workload and new projects, we are looking for a Junior Fabricator to start immediately in our new state of the art Fabrication Workshop.
Duties will include:

Grinding and cutting.

Basic Mig & Tig welding.

Helping with the preparation and assembly of various components.

Building of sump guards and diff guards.

Preparing fabricated sub-assemblies.
The ideal candidate should:

Be educated to technician level.

Have a good attention to detail.
-
Obtain a Level 3 qualification in Fabrication and Welding.

Be able to undertake basic Mig & Tig welding tasks with minimum guidance.

Be able to read and understand technical drawings.
The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. This vacancy would be suitable for a candidate who is self-motivated, tenacious and be able to work alone or as part of a team with an enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude.
