HR Business Analyst

The position:
We are seeking a HR Business Analyst to be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining people data and reporting solutions that will enable the HR Team and senior managers across the business to make better people data-driven decisions.

The HR Business Analyst role will include:

  • Supporting the HR Director and the wider HR team in the managing and designing of the people insights and reporting, including data sources and governance
  • Preparing and communicating daily, weekly and monthly people reports and metrics in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Undertaking data reporting and data presentation both qualitative and quantitative, as part of management packs for internal and external circulation
  • Continuously reviewing the reporting processes to proactively improving them to support business needs and reduce the manual intervention required throughout the business
  • Supporting the HR Business Partnering Team in the delivery of HR change projects as required
  • Working closely with the HR team to provide and present people data and reports as required such salary cycles, company bonus cycles data, mandatory training reports and diversity flash reports
  • Working with HR Systems and Implementation Manager to ensure business needs are translated into system-based solutions
  • Working to analyse/understand quantitative and qualitative people data, pulling data from multiple sources to collaborate data storytelling, identifying trends, predicting outcomes and translating data into meaningful messages for business and HR leadership
  • Developing key performance indicators and facilitate service level creation across HR function, and continuous development and improvement of initiatives

As our HR Business Analyst, you will require to be:

  • Educated to degree level ideally in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Information Systems
  • Experience in the development of analytical solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating findings to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Able to work at pace and in a constantly changing environment
  • Able to re-prioritise and react to ad-hoc requests, whilst maintaining regular responsibilities and a quality service delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply creative and innovative thinking, and challenge the status quo
  • An advanced Excel, with experience using VBA and developing macros, and PowerPoint user
