ASSISTANT, ACCOUNTING

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Associate, this role is part of the team primarily looking after the Accounts receivable function. The successful candidate will be required to proactively chase aged receivables, ensuring that the Company maintains its tight cashflows. Furthermore, as part of our continuous improvement to be cost cap competitive, the role will be an important part in identifying and driving transformation within the finance function, in order to streamline and maximise resources.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for assisting the Senior Associate in the effective management of cash collection across all the McLaren Race series,
  • Working closely with the business partners & marketing leads to ensure cash collection is maximised and cash is allocated in a timely manner,
  • Reconciliation of Aged receivables and assistance in the preparation of month end reporting,
  • Completion of onboarding for new or existing customers,
  • Support process improvements within the order to cash cycle,
  • Assistance in raising sales invoices,
  • Bank verifications,
  • Ensure intercompany invoices are raised on a timely basis,
  • Assist with the maintenance of the customer records within the ERP system,
  • Reconciliation of aged debtors, taking note of income received from customers,
  • Ad hoc duties as required
