Your tasks:
Responsible for design projects of all gearbox and driveline components for
- Double Clutch Transmissions (DCT)
- Constant Variable Transmission (CVT)
- Automatic Transmission (AT)
- Hybrid / Electric and Motorsport Transmissions
Undertake 2D-layouts, calculations, 3D design and development of
- transmission internals, gears, shafts, bearings and seals
- hybrid integration
- gearshift systems, selector forks, synchromesh system and dogring type, detent systems, actuation systems
- clutch, dry and wet clutches including actuation
- differential, salisbury and planetary type, limited slip plate and viscous type and torque vectoring type
- oil-system, pump mechanical and electric type, spray bars, baffles, scavenge system, oil tanks, filtration, lines and hoses and cooling
- driveshaft’s, Shafts and hubs, Joints tripod and CV type, prop-shaft and yokes and boots
- casings, structural and none structural cases, side covers
- electronic component packaging, temperature and pressure sensors, linear and rotary sensors, level sensors, torque sensors, speed sensors
The successful candidate will:
- have a Masters / Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- have experience in comparable high-end surrounding

have good design skills in conjunction with good knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, materials, surface and heat treatment

show sound experience with design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA) and noise and vibration harshness (NVH) studies
- be proficient with CAD (preferably CATIA V5), FEM and the classical calculation methods, data management systems (Teamcenter), SAP and MS Office
