Benefits and Package for a Production Engineer: • Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 • Hours: Monday Thursday 8am to 4.45 pm and Friday 8am to 12.30 pm Contract: Permanent • Location: Salisbury • Performance Bonus Scheme • Annual Pay reviews • Paid for personal development training leading to professional qualifications • Buy and sell holiday scheme • Free Parking plus heavily subsidised shuttle buses • Access to Occupational Health Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer: • Deliver all elements required for successful New Product introduction and method changes, ensuring safe working procedures. • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes and procedures. • Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and external stakeholders. • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practices and take responsibility for implementing improvement actions. • Deliver rapid problem solving to minimise the impact of product non-conformance. • Support in the training of production personnel in the use of equipment, tooling and processes • Project manage new and improved processes About you: • Level 4 NVQ in engineering discipline or technical area • Knowledge of Production Engineering either from Defence or Aerospace (preferred), high tech manufacturing or precision engineering • Demonstrate working knowledge of new product introduction • Ability to compile risk assessments and report writing • Experience of working on Hazops, desirable • Proficient in MS Office If you have the relevant skills and are interested in this position, please apply!
