Salary: £41,000-£43,000 DOE + overtime
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Hours: Double Days 6.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 Monday to Friday weekly rotations

Salary between £41,000-£43,000 dependent on experience

The Role:
Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on automated machinery (conveyors, belts, cranes etc)
Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of automated machinery
Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical Systems including Invertor Drives, PLCs, PSUs, Conveyors, Multi-head weighers, check weighers, flow wrappers, over-wrapping machines, gas flush machines and all other associated systems.
Installations & Repairs of mechanical and electrical based equipment, PLCs/Motor Drives/Invertors & Heating Circuits
Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
Suggest and implement continuous improvement methodologies to maximise efficiency of the plant
There is a call out element to this role once fully trained.
Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety Policies
The Requirements:
Minimum 5 years worth of experience as a Maintenance Engineer (essential)
Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities in a manufacturing environment (essential)
Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - essential
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics (essential)
Previous experience working within the Food or Automotive industries (advantageous)
In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
