THE ROLE

With a host of new projects on the horizon, we’re looking to appoint a number of Technicial Assistants to support our busy teams across all areas of the business. With opportunities amongst our team of engine, transmission, hydraulics and electrical specialists, the Technical Assistants will assist the Heads of Department in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their teams.

The role responsibilities include:​

  • Assisting with record keeping and invoicing to ensure a well-organised and fully up-to-date department.

  • Assisting with stock control to ensure the smooth running of the department.

  • Managing calendars and diaries in line with busy workloads.

  • Managing incoming enquiries and responding in a timely manner.

  • Acting as the department liaison between internal personnel and external partners.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The positions would suit a well-organised individual with a penchant for detail. You should be capable of prioritising busy workloads in a time-sensitive environment, and be confident working on your own initiative as well as following direction.

You should be a team player with an eagerness for positive outcomes while involving the right parties with you strong collaboration skills. This complements strong communication, both written and verbal, and an ability to build strong internal and external relationships which instil a sense of trust and security.

You should have good computer skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite as well as confident learning and using new computer-based platforms.

Technical knowledge and a familiarity with vehicle parts and components would be beneficial, as would previous experience of invoicing and stock control.

Above all, you should be a motivated and ambitious individual who pushes themselves to succeed and improve in all areas of the role.
