Purpose of the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a sub assembly build technician to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Trackside Operations, you will be responsible for all race car sub-assemblies, part maintenance, and servicing.

Purpose of the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a No. 2 Mechanic to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Trackside Operations, you will work as a member of a car crew travelling to all formula E Race & Extreme E events where required.
Working in the aero group, the candidate will use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to perform simulations investigating race car performance. The results from these experiments will be used to identify potential performance gains, guide wind tunnel testing, and develop body surface specifications. The CFD engineer will help make improvements to strengthen the aerodynamic performance of the race car.
Duties:
Basic Function: Team member is directly responsible for the preparation and build of race cars. Including car performance, safety, reliability, and technical inspection compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
· Communicate with mechanics, managers, race engineers and supporting departments to build race cars.
· Traveling with the team to races and tests to ensure the racecar is properly functioning in preparation for successful on-track performance.
Basic Function: Team member directly responsible for the composite repairs and metal fabrication needs of the race team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Completing composite repairs consistent with the design intent of original parts.
· Ability to assess composite damage, create and execute a repair plan consistent within the guidelines or the original manufacture. Ability to perform updates to bodywork and or monocoque chassis within parameters of the original manufacture or internally designed engineers.
About BARC
The British Automobile Racing Club is one of the largest motorsport organisations in the United Kingdom, with a rich and illustrious history spanning over 100 years.
The individual will work as a mechanic in the shop and at the race track. The mechanic will assemble and disassemble the race cars and work to prepare them for the race weekend. The mechanic must be versatile to work on all aspects of a race car with focus on front, rear and/or mid sections. At the race track the mechanic will prepare the car for the track by making necessary changes when instructed. As a mechanic the individual will ensure that all components of the car are secured.
Responsibilities:
Team Penske is looking for a talented professional to join our team as an IT Trackside Technician / Systems Administrator. This role ensures proper server and network operations to successfully utilize technology as a competitive advantage. This includes proactive server maintenance, retrieval of data, data syncing, backup/restore, and troubleshooting/repair as needed. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic methods and tools, as well as requiring individual in-person assistance. This is an in-office position.

Working in the NASCAR vehicle dynamics group, the candidate will develop simulation software used by the race teams and the Engineering Department as well as work on vehicle performance.

Assist the vehicle dynamics group with the development of an OEM DIL Simulator.
The CFD Group Manager will lead a group that uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to improve race car performance focused in the NASCAR series. The results from this group will guide wind tunnel testing, and body surface specifications.
