The Technical Inspector is responsible for inspecting vehicles to assure compliance with specified series guidelines for competitors and directing competitors in proper procedures for participating in race events.

The track is the only venue to host NASCAR’s top series every year since its inception. In May 2020, Martinsville Speedway will host its first NASCAR Cup Series race ‘under the lights’. In the fall, the track welcome the series back, along with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, to determine the Championship Four.
