Team Penske is seeking an intern for its Composites Shop. The position is located at Penske Racing’s facility in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Assist/learn basic composite manufacturing, measuring, and trimming techniques.
- Assist with mold cleaning, labeling and preparation for laminating.
- Restock consumables and other supplies.
- Help with overall daily maintenance of the composite department and equipment.
- Follow work instructions and procedures.
- Handle composite materials and tools in a safe manner, follow safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with hand and electric / pneumatic hand tools.
- Must possess above average math skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in auto body repair and finishing is a plus.
- Must be able to adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
