In this role you will be responsible for supporting the introduction of the best processes and technologies, according to the objectives and standards agreed with Head of Machine Shop and the team in tracking departmental activities in the management system. You will also support and drive an improvement in the efficiency of production processes and promote meetings with departmental Team Leaders to share departmental metrics.

Process Engineer
Supporting the Head of Machine Shop in the analysis of production processes, for the introduction of new production methods and process standardization with a view to continuous improvement;
Analyzing any criticalities with a view to improving the efficiency of production processes together with the departmental Team Leaders;
Collecting, promoting, analyzing and monitoring KPIs via the management system, with a view to improving efficiency and simplifying operator activities;
Supporting the R&D department during the testing phases of new materials;
Coordinating the timing and methods of the stages of introducing new materials into the production process, shared with Design Office, R&D and Head of Machine Shop;
Supporting production during the start-up phases of a new component with the help of the necessary documentation;
Supporting Team Leaders and Group Leaders in solving problems detected during the production process;
Collaborating with Project Managers and Head of Machine Shop on product improvement proposals;
Supporting the Head of Machine Shop and Team Leader in resolving non-conformities reported by the Quality Department.
Professionalism
Experience in recording processing times, defining correct times and reducing or eliminating waste;
Knowledge of the Lean production method;
Knowledge of production processes, methods and technologies;
Expertise in production process layouts and technical documentation;
Knowledge of the materials used (metals) in production and the technologies used in production (milling, turning).

Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Management, Materials Engineering or similar;
- 3 years' experience in structured companies in the engineering sector;
- Good communication skills;
- Good English level;
- Ability to organise, plan, analyse and problem solving;
- Ability to handle stressful situations;
- Ability to work in a team and actively support co-workers;
- Proactivity and result orientation.
