Job Description:

As a Motorsport Technician at Venture, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to create cutting-edge racing vehicles and components. You will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest level of performance, safety, and reliability for our motorsport projects. We require a flexible candidate with weekend race events required regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance and Setup: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and setup of motorsport vehicles, including chassis, suspension, engine, and drivetrain components.
  • Testing and Tuning: Assist in the preparation and execution of vehicle testing sessions. Collaborate with engineers to collect data and make adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Component Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble specialised components and systems, ensuring they meet the strict standards of the motorsport industry.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during testing and race events to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
  • Race Support: Provide on-site support during race events, including pit crew responsibilities, emergency repairs, and rapid component replacement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed on vehicles and components.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards, prioritizing the safety of drivers and team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and designers to identify opportunities for performance enhancements and participate in research and development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience as a motorsport technician or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with knowledge of motorsport vehicle systems and components.
