Media & Administrative Co-ordinator

The Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC) is seeking a dynamic and creative Media & Administrative Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand's digital presence, engaging with our community, and promoting the Club's values and events across various platforms. 


Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to boost brand visibility and member engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling content, including graphics, videos, and articles, to foster community interaction and share the passion for vintage sports cars.
  • Monitor social media trends, adapting strategies to align with industry best practices and enhance audience engagement.
  • Engage actively with our community by responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance metrics to guide future campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of current events and relevant topics to produce timely and engaging content.
  • Coordinate social media advertising campaigns to drive website traffic and event participation.

Website Management:

  • Collaborate with the Club Secretary to ensure the VSCC website reflects up-to-date and engaging content.
  • Liaise with web designers and engineers to maintain a user-friendly and accessible website, exploring new features and innovations.

Media and Public Relations:

  • Manage copyright issues related to VSCC and press use of photographs.
  • Coordinate media ticket requests and oversee press attendance at events, ensuring compliance with venue requirements.
  • Supervise media sign-ins and manage on-the-day social media coverage during events.
  • Work with part-time helpers for additional event support, ensuring a cohesive approach to public relations.

General Administration:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Club Secretary.
  • Handle general enquiries, type reports, and manage the Club's administrative filing system efficiently.

Newsletter Coordination:

  • Manage the advertisement process for the Club's newsletter, coordinating content and ensuring timely publication.

Eligibility Administration:

  • Administer the eligibility process for event participation, managing correspondence and documentation accurately.

Events Ticket Sales:

  • Oversee ticket sales operations, ensuring a seamless purchase experience for members and attendees.

Trade Stand Administration:

  • Coordinate trade stand bookings for events, including logistics, information distribution, and site planning.

Regalia Liaison:

  • Work closely with the Regalia team to ensure product quality, manage event merchandise, and monitor member satisfaction.



  • Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for vintage sports cars and the heritage of motoring is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with website management tools is a plus.
