Responsibilities
-
Diagnostics Data creation and maintenance.
-
Diagnostics test development for Development, Engineering and Aftersales.
-
Understanding of advanced and secure diagnostics architecture for electric vehicles
-
Perform system validation on test benches and test vehicles.
-
Contribution in inhouse ASAM complaint diagnostics and flasher tool development
-
Capture and analyze CAN messages and logs to provide detailed information of test results.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or its foreign equivalent
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Off-board and On-Board Diagnostics.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent Written and oral communication skills
Technical Qualification.
-
Develop diagnostic applications in support of new and previously released vehicles.
-
Leverage various debug programs to understand how data and information “flows” through the software ecosystem.
-
Collaborate with team members to analyze vehicles’ diagnostic needs then create a support plan and execute according to that plan.

Design, develop, test, and release Engineering Diagnostics tools and software programming tools.
-
Perform vehicle validation using both vehicle simulation software as well as on-vehicle validation
-
Expert knowledge about manufacturer diagnostics for Electric Vehicle
-
Knowledge about automotive networks with Ethernet as plus
-
Expert knowledge of diagnostics protocols (UDS) & its associate specifications
-
Knowledge about Data specification and exchange processes (like ODX, CDD, ARXML, FIBEX, DBC) and tools needed to handle these formats efficiently.

Knowledge of the related diagnostics tools (Intrepid flash tools, Diagnostics tools and strategies like SOTA)

Expertise knowledge on CAPLE and OTX Scripting for diagnostics use cases
-
Expertise knowledge on ODX and CDD creation and maintenance.

Awareness of communication-related Cybersecurity (SecOC, secure firmware updates, secure diagnostics and HSM)

Works under limited supervision. Ability to collect and build new knowledge as needed (New protocols, New Bus technologies, New Vehicle Architectures)

Organized and structured workstyle and attention to detail

Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively. This requires a good system understanding of the involved Hardware, Software, and customer Use-Cases
