BWT Alpine F1 Team have an exciting opportunity to join us in the role of CNC Lathe Programmer- Machinist working within our Aerodynamics Machine Shop.
You will be a key member of the team, working in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment and contributing significantly to success on the track.
Your day to day role will be to program, set and operate our Mazak 200MY, producing high precision, one off and small batch volume components for the Model Car and Wind Tunnel engineering projects.
CNC Lathe Programmer- Machinist – The Role
Efficiently Program, Set, Run Mazak 200MY CNC lathe machine.
- Machine to tight tolerances.
• One offs and small batch work.
• Able to manage own workload.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet production targets.
This is a permanent role on the Day shift (4 shifts Tuesday-Friday).
CNC Lathe Programmer- Machinist – The Person
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of programming using Mazatrol.
Programming using Hypermill CADCAM would be an advantage, but full training will be given where needed.
Experience of programming and running CNC milling machines and EDM is also beneficial to the department.
