About this Position:

Support Assembly frame by improving quality characteristics for complex concerns and market outflow.

Responsibilities include:

  • Continuous improvement activities related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety.

  • Root Cause identification and countermeasure for complex problems.

  • Provide training and support for the production team.

  • Support new model improvement and development activity.

  • Manage projects, prepare documents for approval and manage safety, quality of work, meeting schedules and cost.

  • Identify loss, determine root causes, develop solutions and implement engineering countermeasures.

  • Identify on-going production issues/tracking and develop themes to improve.

  • Evaluate production processes for quality content and effectiveness.

  • Daily communication within and outside the department.

  • Work with other departments/zones for resolution of complex problems.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • Prefer intern or co-op experience (1-2 terms) or related work experience at two years.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent related experience.

Desired skills:

  • Strong continuous improvement mindset; MS office; problem solving/decision making skills; project management capabilities.

Additional Position Factors:

  • Shift rotation when needed, weekend work when needed.

  • Travel: 5%
