Salary: £38,000-£40,000 DOE

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: 7.30-17.00 Mon to Thurs, 12.00 finish Friday

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Company:

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading firm based in Wellingborough on their search for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their team. Our client has been established for over 60 years and are now looking for an engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join the team. The Benefits:

Salary between £38,000-£40,000 dependent on experience

The Role:

Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on packaging and manufacturing machinery.

Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of manufacturing machinery.

Minimise machine downtime by servicing and maintaining machinery effectively and efficiently.

Suggest plans and ideas to improve machine and process capability, using continuous improvement methodologies where required.

Offer assistance and training to lesser skilled staff to aid with preventative maintenance.

Complete and maintain neat documentation and service record to ensure all date is correct.

Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies.

The Requirements:

Minimum 5 years worth of experience as an engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)

Multi-skilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential)

Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities in a manufacturing environment (essential)

Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - advantageous

In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery

Full UK Drivers Licence
