Your tasks:
- take responsibility for the entire hardware design cycle from concept to deployment
- design of hardware and its integration
- design of harnesses using CATIA V5
- creation and controlling of parts and assembly lists, plus the required build-up documentation
- follow-up of car build, test and race, analysis of problems and design improvement
- work together with dedicated, interdisciplinary project teams and support of special developement projects
The successful candidate will:
- have a Masters / Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- have relevant experience in comparable high-end surrounding and be familiar with electrical systems, routing and harnessing
- display profound knowledge of mechanical design, solid modelling, surfacing and sheet metal design
- be proficient in MS Office products and have knowledge and previous experience with CATIA V5 and Siemens PLM Teamcenter
- be able to write and speak professional English, additional German language skills are an advantage
