Main tasks
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies in the inventory
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
- Label, pack items, rotate stock and arrange for disposal of surpluses
- Operate a forklift (optional)
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
- Skills to operate common office equipment (which in some cases include computer assisted inventory and automotive equipment)
- Competencies in data entry, analysis and management
- Good English skills, spoken and written
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification (optional)
